Daphne Hortense Baird HAMILTON – Daphne Hortense Baird age 82 of Hamilton, NJ passed away May 21, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Ann’s Grove, East Coast Demerara, Guyana. Daphne migrated to the United State in 1989. Daphne was employed as a Home Health Aide with the Visiting Nurses Association until she retired in 2011.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Veronica Daniels, her sister Eloise D. Bogado, brother Sylvan David, and brothers-in-law Ignatius Bogado and Charles Lawson.
Daphne is survived by her sister Gwendolyn Lawson, children: Morna H. Azore, Elmer, Euralle, Alonzo, Patricia, and Abraham Jr., daughters-in-law Marva, and Cherrell, son-in-law Clyde Mingo, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Fri May 27, 2016 at Triumphant Life Community Church 301 Euclid Ave Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time of service at the church. Interment Greenwood Cemetery Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
