Randolph (Evan, as you know him) was the son of Dennan and Vita Liverpool (now deceased). Evan was born in Tuschen, West Coast Demerara, Guyana.
At a very young age, his parents decided to move to Bartica, Essequibo where he continued his education at the St. John the Baptist school. Evan was a choir boy and acolyte at the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church. A very ambitious and religious person, Evan later attended Central High School in Georgetown. Evan loved to play cricket with his friends and family. At age 16, he worked at the American Army Base and later his parents moved to Georgetown where he then worked as a clerk at the Rice Marketing Board.
Evan immigrated to London, England at the age of 24 and continued his working life at Lyon’s Ice Cream Factory. While in London, he attended several schools including the Polytechnic. He was soon sent to Africa by Lyon’s to work as a technician.
After his contract in Africa ended, he returned to England. Soon afterwards he joined his sister Hermie, in the United States, where he worked for CT Advertisement Company as a proofreader. In 1988, Evan and Waveney (Una) married in Brooklyn. Eventually, Evan became a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church and joined the Men’s Guild.
Randolph Evan Liverpool is survived by his wife, children, Pamela, Douglas, Diane, Derrek, Karen, Brian and numerous grandchildren; sisters Hermie Liverpool, and Norma Haynes, along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

Service was held on January 15, 2016 at the St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church and interment was at Canarsie Cemetery, both in Brooklyn, NY.
