Kwesi Oginga, Radio Broadcaster, Pastor, Adjunct Professor, Author and Much More

Kwesi Oginga was born in Beterverwagting, Guyana. His life as a writer began at age 15. His works won him several Certificates of Excellence at the Guyana Festival in the Arts (GUYFESTA). His works were also featured at the Caribbean Festival of the Arts (CARIFESTA), and at the Festival of the Guianas in Suriname and Cayenne.

His works were also featured at the Caribbean Festival of the Arts (CARIFESTA), and at the Festival of the Guianas in Suriname and Cayenne.

Classic plays such as Tengar, To My Son a Legacy, The Inheritance and The Break were commissioned for the celebration of Guyana's Celebration of its republican status and for the celebration of the President's Birthday. Some of his poems became national treasures and were used as competition pieces for Verse Speaking during the National Youth Week celebrations.

Kwesi Oginga is the Associate Pastor of New Life Ministries in Silver Spring Maryland and an Adjunct Professor of The Washington Institute of Theological Studies in Reston, Virginia. He holds a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting, Columbia School of Broadcasting, Virginia, and a Bachelors of Arts in Theology/ Christian Studies along with a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. Kwesi lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
