Taste of The Caribbean Restaurant & Lounge DMV

When visiting the Washington DC metro area and you are looking for a good Caribbean meal, it is highly recommended you visit Taste of The Caribbean Restaurant & Lounge DMV at one of their four locations:

1. 505 Hampton Park Blv. Ste A-C, Capitol Heights, MD 20743
2. 11440 Cherry Hill Road, Beltsville, MD 20705
3. 1400 W Patapsco Ave. Baltimore, MD 21230
4. 6332 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, MD 20747

Taste of the Caribbean has been the primier caterer for many events at embassies, the Organization of American States (OAS), and other high-profile locations. They also offer online ordering.

The principals are Guyanese and it is important we show our support, especially because they support many fund-raising events in the area.

“Taste of the Caribbean was originally founded in 2004 by four friends who formed a partnership. In 2006 the partnership changed to a Corporation owned by Newton family and son. This restaurant has a full scale menu, and offers dine in, take out and catering options.

We have a licensed bar that provides beer, wine and alcoholic beverages for dine in only. We cater for weddings, receptions, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, meetings and parties for all occasions. Our Caribbean cuisines include authentic Guyanese, Jamaican and Trinidadian dishes.”
