Keith O’Neil Jr. the son of former Guyana Police Force member Keith O’Neil Sr. who passed away in January 2021, was appointed President/Chief Executive Officer of Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union headquartered in Baltimore Maryland USA.

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND (February 25, 2022) — Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith C. O’Neil Jr as the Credit Union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.
“We are thrilled to have Keith take on the role of President/CEO,” said Sharon Kemp, JHFCU’s Board Chair. “Keith has an impressive background in Operations and Information Technology and is just the individual to lead us on our continuing journey of growth and new opportunities for the Credit Union and our members.”
Keith has served as Chief Operating Officer at UVA Community Credit Union since 2016 and was previously the Senior Vice President Operations and Technology at APG FCU. Keith also served as Vice President of Information Systems at Tower FCU and Vice President Information Technology/CIO at Quorum FCU. Keith has over 20 years’ experience in the credit union space and has held several executive level positions throughout his career. At UVA Community Credit Union, Keith was instrumental in strategic planning, and implementing a comprehensive leadership sales and service structure. He also redeveloped the indirect auto lending program and implemented the SBA Payment Protection Program. He restructured the BSA/Fraud team to exceed regulatory requirements and designed a concept branch of the future leveraging video teller machines.
“Keith has many great ideas for building on Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union’s reputation of assisting the members and providing excellent resources to members of the Credit Union. His outstanding vision and drive will help guide us in finding additional ways to serve our membership and meet their financial needs and expand our membership base,” said Sharon. “The Board is looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Johns Hopkins FCU under Keith’s leadership.”
